Have patience and be faithful unto death. Do not fight among yourselves. Be perfectly pure in money dealings. We will do great things yet. So long as you have faith and honesty and devotion, everything will prosper.

Renunciation, non-resistance and non-destructiveness are the ideals to be attained through less and less worldliness, resistance and destructiveness. Keep the ideal in view and work towards it. None can live in the world without resistance, destruction or desire.
Sri Ramakrishna had a whole world of knowledge to teach, why insist upon unnecessary things as miracles really are! They do not prove anything. Matter does not prove Spirit. What connection is there between the existence of God, Soul, or immortality, and the working of miracles?
The life of Shri Ramakrishna was an extraordinary searchlight under whose illumination one is able to really understand the whole scope of Hindu religion. He was the object-lesson of all the theoretical knowledge given in the Shâstras (scriptures).
