Sankhya is one of the Six Philosophical Schools of Ancient India. It is believed to be developed by Kapila Vasudeva (Kapila Maharshi).Sankhya is more ancient than Vedantha. There are only two books are available about the principles of Sankhya. ‘Sankhya Sootram’ by Kapila maharshi and ‘Sankhya Sapthathi’ by Eswara Krishna. This book was translated to Malayalam by Puthukkott S. Ananthanarayana Sasthrikal.
